Day 1 Arrival to Lima
Arrival at the International Jorge Chavez airport, welcome and transfer to the hotel
Day 2 Lima Tour – Paracas
City tour of Lima; you will visit the traditional residential neighborhood of San Isidro, Miraflores. Then enjoy a tour of Huaca Pucllana, an adobe pyramid structure dating back more than 4,000 years. You will then the visit the colonial center of Lima, including the main Plaza, the Main Cathedral, the Convent of San Francisco, the beauty architecture of Plaza San Martín and many other highlights of old town Lima.
Around lunch time we will bring you to the Cruz Del Sur Bus Terminal where you will board the bus to Paracas (4 hrs approx). When your bus arrives we will be waiting to bring you to your Hotel. The rest of the day will be yours to rest and relax at the beach or explore the town of Paracas as you wish. Night in Paracas.
Day 3 Ballestas Island Tour – Ica
In the morning we will pick you up from your hotel and bring you to the Paracas Port where you will board your boat for your Ballestas Island excursion where you have the opportunity to observe Seals, Humboldt Penguins, Dolphins, and many migratory seabirds.
When you return to the Paracas Port we will be waiting to bring you to the Cruz del Sur Bus Terminal. We will help you with your luggage and check you in for your bus to Ica.
When your bus arrives to the Ica Bus Station we will be waiting to bring you to the beautiful desert Oasis of Huacachina. We will bring you to your hotel and help you check in. The rest of the evening will be yours to rest, relax and explore the Oasis as you wish; we suggest you to enjoy a Dune Buggy tour of the Desert and some Sand Boarding which can be arranged by your hotel.
Day 4 Flight over Nazca Lines
After breakfast we will pick you up at your hotel in Huacachina and bring you to the Ica Bus station for your Bus Cruz del Sur bus to Nasca. When your bus arrives we will be waiting to bring you to the Maria Reiche Neuman Nasca Airport for your over flight of the famous Nasca Lines.
During your 30 minute flight over the enigmatic Nasca Lines you will have the opportunity to view enormous geoglyphs in shape of animals such as birds, spider, monkey and other geometric figures. According of some researches they were created by the Nasca culture between 200 B.C and AD 700, however the exact reason the figure were built for, is still a mystery.
At the appropriate time we will bring you to the Nasca Cruz del Sur Bus terminal where you will take your overnight bus to Arequipa. The bus transfer will take around 9 ½ hours, when you arrive we will be waiting to bring you to your hotel and help you check in.

Day 5 Arequipa
Today will be your free day to explore the beautiful White City of Arequipa on your own. The majority of the city is constructed with a white volcanic white sillar stone that gives the city a beautiful white gleam. We highly suggest visiting the main square or Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, Convent of Santa Catalina, along with other colonial buildings around the center. The main square boasts an architectural style that blends European and native characteristics to create a unique style dubbed “Escuela Arequipeña”. We also recommend visiting the Museum Santuarios Andinos dedicated to the Juanita frozen mummy.
Day 6 Chivay, Colca Canyon
After breakfast our representative will meet you in the lobby of your hotel where you will start your hour bus journey to the small town of Chivay. On the way to Chivay you will pass through the Cañahuas plateau to the Aguada Blanca National Reserve and habitat for vicuñas and alpacas (South America camelids); also in route you will see pre-columbian terraces that are still used today to grow native crops.
When the tour bus arrives to Chivay they will bring you to the Hotel where you will stay the night. The rest of the afternoon will be yours to rest, relax or explore as you wish.
Day 7 Colca Canyon/Cruz del Condor – Puno
Very early in the morning the tour bus will meet you in the lobby of your hotel. You will continue on to the Cruz del Condor viewpoint where you can see the largest flying bird in the world in full flight. After some time watching the Condors you will continue on to the traditional villages of Yanque, Corporaque, Achoma and Maca where you will have the chance to visit with the inhabitants and observe them in their daily traditional life.
In the afternoon the tour bus will bring you to the city of Puno (6 hrs. approx.) When you arrive we will be waiting to bring you to your hotel where you can rest and relax in Puno city.
Day 8 Puno, Lake Titicaca: Uros & Amantani Island
After breakfast we will pick you up from your hotel and bring you to the Port to take a boat for an unforgettable journey around Lake Titicaca. Our first stop is in the floating Islands of Uros. These Islands were constructed by hand using locally grown reeds, they also use this material to build their houses, boats and other domestic items.
After a visit to the Uros Islands where you will learn about the ancient traditions and way of life we will continue the journey to Amantani Island. This island was originally populated by pre-Incas and Incas and still maintains many of their ancient traditions especially in weaving techniques and speaking the ancient language of Quechua. After a traditional lunch with your host family you will enjoy a tour of Island learning about the history and culture. After a tour of the island you will meet the family with whom you will be staying the night.
Day 9 Lake Titicaca: Taquile Island
After a fresh breakfast prepared by the host family we will continue the tour to Taquile Island, also inhabited by Quechua speakers (the language of the Incas) who have developed an efficient organization system, and their work in agriculture and textile with ancient techniques.
After a tour of the island and meeting with the locals we will take the boat back to Puno. When you arrive to the port we will bring you back to your hotel for a restful evening.
Day 10 Tour bus from Puno to Cusco
Early in the morning we will pick you up in the lobby of your hotel and bring you to the bus terminal where you will catch your tour bus to Cusco. During the journey you will visit Pukara, and then stop in the Pass of La Raya, the highest point on the way at 4,400 masl. Then the bus will stop at the archaeological site of Raqchi, temple dedicated to Wiracocha God; the central part is built from adobe bricks. Then the trip continues to the Town and Church of Andahuaylillas, this church is also known as the Sistine Chapel of the Americas, due to the rich colonial artworks and painted murals that cover the walls, ceilings, and arches. After you visit the church the bus will continue to Cusco.
When you arrive to Cusco we will be waiting to bring you to your hotel for a restful and relaxing evening.
Optional:
- A Luxury Andean Explorer Train Service from Puno to Cusco or viceverse. Also a route considered by some travel magazines one of the most beautiful in the world. Also this train runs Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays; since April on fridays.
Day 11 Sacred Valley Tour
After an early breakfast we will pick you up in the lobby of your hotel and bring you into the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Our first stop will be to visit the archaeological site and traditional market of Pisac. After your tour of Pisac we will make our way to Urubamba where you will enjoy a lovely lunch make with some of the many fresh products of the area.
After lunch we will make our way to the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo where we will visit the ancient Inca Fortress and terraces. After the tour we will bring you to your Ollantaytambo hotel where you will enjoy a restful and relaxing evening.
Day 12 Machu Picchu Tour
At the appropriate time we will meet you in the lobby of your hotel and bring you to the Train Station for your Expedition Train to Aguas Calientes. The train will follow the Vilcanota River for approximately 1½ hr. When you arrive, we will meet you and take you to the bus station for your ride to the citadel of Machu Picchu. You will then enjoy a professional guided tour of one of the Modern Wonders of the World, Machu Picchu, one of the most mysterious and magical places in the world.
After your tour you will have some extra free time to Explore before returning to the train station for your train and transfer back to Cusco.

Day 13 Cusco, City Tour
Today you will have a free morning to rest, relax and explore in the beautiful ancient capital of the Incas. We highly suggest visiting the San Pedro Market, Artisan neighborhood of San Blas or the Central Artisanal where you can find many handicrafts made by the locals.
At the appropriate time we will meet you in the lobby of your hotel and start the tour. We will visit the main square or Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, the Coricancha or Temple of the Sun. Afterwards we will make our way outside the city to the archaeological sites of Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, PucaPucara and Tambomachay. After a tour of each location we will bring you back to your hotel for a restful evening.
Day 14 Amazon Rainforest D1
Your last day in Cusco, you will be taken to the airport for the flight to Puerto Maldonado.
Reception at the airport in Puerto Maldonado city, then you will be taken first to headquarter in town to then continue to the lodge.
(You need to take with you to the lodge just what is necessary to be use in the jungle, the rest you can leave in the office of Puerto Maldonado)
Then you will head off to the Port around 20Km away from the town, where you will board the boat to take you to the lodge.
On the way to the lodge you will pass through communities, dense forest and private reserves.
Lodge is located next to Tambopata National Reserve in the southern Peruvian Amazon Rainforest.
Night walk in the jungle scanning the shores with headlamps and flashlights to catch the red gleams of reflection from caiman eyes among other reptiles.
Overnight in the Peruvian Amazonas Rainforest.
Day 15 Amazon Rainforest D2
During you staying in the jungle you will enjoy of many activities with your naturalist guide such as canopy tower tour, visit to the lakes, farmlands, parrots clay lick, ethnobotanical tours, night walk, ecotourism lecture at night, among others.
Day 16 Amazon Rainforest D3 & Departure
After breakfast you will be transferred by a relaxing boat journey back to Puerto Maldonado Port to continue by car to Puerto Maldonado Headquarter and then be taken to the airport for your flight to Lima.
